Edge painting: part 2.

Trying every possible approach to edge painting but nothing seems to really work.

First: roller, mixed up the silver paint and with a roller applied it to a handful of business cards,
but because the ink was made up from a powder it didnt really stick well enough and left them looking like this.

Then tried adding a bit of gray acrylic to the mix to make the ink stick easier.

which worked a lot better, however i put too much ink on at once which ran onto the front of the business cards.

also the ink was too dark and looked more grey than silver, which wasnt the effect that i wanted

added more silver power to the mix and applied it to the business cards individually, which worked a lot better but still looked messy and not as crisp as i would of liked.

Tried buying one of them silver pens, which also didnt work..

then finally tried foiling the edge of the buisiness card with an iron, but still didnt work.
Pretty frustrating.
