Started working on the specimen book, the book would be made to be produced at low cost and sold along side the posters to help gain attention towards the typeface. Because the intention was to keep the cost low and production speed high no special bind was necessary, printed on normal stock and pamphlet bound.

I wanted the type specimen book to hold much more information than just each character within louella sans but also the production and concept of the typeface. Therefore at the beginning of the book hold initial concepts for the typeface, inspiration, initial design sketched and the design process behind building some of the letterforms.
